I was treated very poorly because I was in the military. I was told in writing that I was too stupid to understand because I was a service member. I do not recommend this provider as he is responsible for his staff and they would ultimately be a reflection of how he conducts business.
I can't comment on Dr. Abdow or his associates, but I can say his front desk staff need training in customer service. They clearly hate their job. Very bad first impression.
After going from specialist to specialist finally Dr Abdow was the one that helped diagnose my daughter with POTTs.. He helped guide us with getting the proper care and now my daughter is so much better. Thanks Dr Abdow for your expertise and professionalism!!!
Our former pediatrician transferred her practice to Dr. Abdow when she retired, and we've been very pleased with the service we've received. Staff is friendly and helpful, we've had no problem getting in to be seen on a last-minute call, and Dr. Abdow himself is lovely.
He went above and beyond when my son had chicken pox, an allergic reaction to his antibiotics and a flair up of his skin condition. We really like him.
Easy to talk to, gets to the point quickly and competently. Courteous staff.
Very disappointed second time my child has been missed diagnosed. The students spend more time with the patient vs the Dr. During such a horrible flu season every effort to diagnose the flu properly is critical everything isn’t the common cold. The staff is in consistent . Not bringing my children again
Office itself on 1st glance is kid friendly and inviting, but look a little closer I am not sure there are not health concerns created by the office. Staff is too casual and unprofessional. The environment starts with what they wont do for you and what you wont do as a patient. There are better ways to have order and procedures without being rude. The care is ok...but you will feel like you are being judged when speaking with doctors and staff and not consistently get quality care.
He consistently ignored the existing medical problem. For every our concern we heard "it does not bother me". Prescribed medically non relevant tests. We always spend hour and a half in the office , most of time with his students and 5 minute with doctor. Looks like he is more committed to teach students then spend time with patient.
