On Oct 1st 2023 had this company come out and get my trapped car out of the garage. I needed new springs, new pulleys and cables and also had new rollers installed. The job took 2 hours. Should have read the reviews about this company but they appeared to be reputable. I was charged $2500 for the job. Two days later I checked on what the required parts would cost. They amounted to less than $300. Emailed the company and asked them to send me an invoice and possibly reconsider that charge. Heard nothing from them. Im seventy ... read more

Prices were on the high side for the springs but the tech did a good job and was quick about it but unfortunately, the tech charged my cc 3 times for the charges and was told by customer ********************** to email them a copy of my cc statement before they will consider refunding the extra charges. Poor customer ********************** on my opinion.

A long story. They told me $129 to install a (free with service) garage door bottom weatherstripping. (I called in to verify the price). Then it went to $330! (For another metal piece, plus travel time plus???) Then they made my tenant believe that my garage door was not safe!! (I dont think they should be talking to MY tenants AT ALL. My daughters garage door worked but the remote would not work, service guy said itd cost $1,100 to replace the motor. WHAT?? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I am appalled at their bait and switch business tactics and treatment of customers. I had a roller break and come out of the track and called A1 to get it fixed. They came out the next day and quoted me $140 to fix the roller and do an assessment of my garage door and opener. About 30 min later they said that they had fixed the roller and said that the garage door would need a new spring, all new rollers (plus the one they fixed) and new cables which they quoted me $2,000 for. A1 Garage Door Service - I waited for 2 days to post this so I have calmed down a little. My husband had a coupon from A1 Garage for a $59 tuneup. He made an appointment with them. To drive the 5 miles from their office they charged $40. After he had everything torn apart he told my husband it would be about $1200 to fix everything. My husband quickly called ******* Doors (who we usually have work on it) to see how much they would charge. They werent able to get back to us in time. A1Garage Doors DOES NOT honor their word. I am waiting on a refund. They tell you to wait **** days. Then they tell you the check is in the mail. Then they tell you....ANOTHER LIE. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. THEY ARE THIEVES.

Had a key pad put on in June and quit working, called them, they came out promptly. Then tried to charge me again. I thought they would stand by their work.

Our tenant, who happens to be in her 80s, contacted A1 Garage Door Service because of difficulty with the garage door opener. Both the wall and car/hand held remote were not working consistently.
