We had a main water line break and the pipe needed to be replaced all the way from the house to the street. Rick and Cody came, assessed the situation and explained what had to be done. They were diligent, courteous and extremely helpful. I will definitely call them again if the need arises.

We needed a shut off valve replaced under our kitchen sink. Larry came out he was very effeciant, informative , and courtious. I would use A-1 american again and recommend them . thanks larry for your wonderful service

Kitchen Faucet Replacement I had a leaky kitchen faucet and the screws were so rusted in place I broke the first one trying to get it out. Not wanting to make things worse I called A-1 American. Larry and John arrived on time, determined the faucet was beyond repair, got and installed a replacement that was probably a better quality faucet than the original. From the time they first arrived until they left was only about 2 hours and the work area was cleaner than when they got there

I had a leak in my shower faucet and I called A-1 American. John and Larry came and quickly diagnosed the problem. They returned the next day and completed the repair. They both were professional and friendly. I would recommend them .

Unethical and incompetent. Had a minor running toilet which I would normally fix myself but due to recent bout with the flu and major surgery for my husband, decided to pay a 'professional'. $249 to replace just the flapper and the pump thing, not all the parts. That was yesterday. Today it's leaking on the floor, ghost flushing every 30 minutes and still running. Stay away from A 1 robbers!

i agree with the unethical business practices reviews. I had a garbage disposal that was leaking and was told it needed to be replaced. I asked how much it would cost to replace the disposal and was told it would be $700.00. I was shocked by the price and then was told they would give me a $100 discount because they had been to my house before. I asked the price of the disposal and was told that the repairmen didn't set the price and that's what they were told it cost. I immediately looked online and saw the disposal was $92... read more

I noticed a block in the sewage line from my house to the street on a Sunday morning and called A-1 American they arrived in less than 30 minutes the same day. John and Larry immediately started to work to clear the blockage which was cleared in a little over an hour. Work was done in a timely and professional manner, with no mess.

I arrived home (5:00pm) after work to find my upstairs was 91 degrees. I immediately thought the worse. I knew I needed to contact someone, but I didn't know who. I had remembered a commercial I saw on 13 News for A-1, so I decided to call them. I called around 5:30pm that day and the tech was there a little after around 6:30pm. Fernando and Phil really went above and beyond to ensure that the work needed in my home was done efficiently and at the highest of quality. Fernando explained everything to me and when there was an additional problem with my water heater, went above and beyond by calling the manufacturer to utilize the warranty, retrieving the appropriate part, and returning to complete the job.
