One of the hottest days of the summer and our AC broke and it needed replacing. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism, knowledge, and workmanship evidenced during the installation of my new AC unit. I recently experience an incident that created heat and frustration with our home A/C unit. When I got home, our new puppy had chewed the wires on the A/ C unit. Of course, this would only happen on the hottest day of the year so far. Drip, drip, drip. I tried 15 times to fix the bathtub leak myself. My wife had had enough. Me or the drip. I called A-1 American and they sent Jim from the Virginia Beach office. No more drip. Happy Wife = Happy Life.

We had been having a back flow problem from our washing machine for about a year. I would snake out the pipe and within a few days the problem would return. I called A-1 American and requested them to send someone out to look at my problem and give me an estimate on the repairs. They sent Brian out and within just a few minutes he was able to tell me that my problem was that my pipe was clogged because it did not maintain a correct slope from one end to the other. My name is Dhar N. Prabhakar and live in Virginia Beach. I recently noticed a surge in our water bill and thought there may be a leak in one of our toilets. Had an unexpected water leak happen. Called A-1 American and the young lady was very helpful with my questions and concerns. She also scheduled me for an appointment with a tech ASAP. My water heater stopped working, I contacted A-1 and they sent out a technician, Tim. Not only did Tim show up on time as promised, he did impeccable work. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me select a product that met need sat, a price I was comfortable paying. But the best part of the service call was his personable nature, integrity and professionalism. Thanks for a job well done!
