Best atmosphere in Franklin. Great food, cold drinks, and ALWAYS friendly staff. Forget the old “chains” and order up the chargrilled oysters with a friend and hang!

I had the garlic crab fries, shrimp and grits, and a parish punch. It was delicious. If you saw them on tv like I saw them come check them out, they’re great.

Fun local bar and restaurant. Great local Southern cooking and gastropub style food, craft beers, wine and full bar. Looking forward to another visit.
Awesome service and some of the best cajun dishes we have ever had. We had the fried pickles (little greesy) and the fried oyster nachos (so good). I have the chicken and sausage jambalaya(so good),wife had the seafood gumbo (to die for) and my mother had the brisket tacos (so dam good) great food great service!
We traveled from Knoxville to specifically eat at 55 South. We had seen the Triple D episode and decided we wanted to go. This was part of my bday celebration. We totally enjoyed it. The atmosphere and the food was AMAZING. We will be back. I ordered the PO' Boy and my husband ordered the Jambalaya...We are every bite of it.
