Celebrated my 60th b'day there last Aug. and am heading there tomorrow AM for brunch. FIVE STARS! Wonderful food, killer mimosas, and great service! What more could you ask?
Delicious!! Great menu and nice beer selection. I enjoyed a Jackalope Bearwalker Maple Brown on draft with a plate of shrimp and grits while ding a bit if people watching at an outside cafe table. I'd definitely recommend this place and look forward to my next meal there.

Great spot for lunch!! The wedge salad with Cajun shrimp and fried green tomatoes were excellent as was the bartender, Becky!!
Our first visit to 55 South was a major success! Half off bottles of wine (on Tuesdays), Garlic Crab Fries and the Po Boy sandwich with a side of red beans and rice left me feeling completely satisfied! Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! Really delicious stuff here, folks! Thanks for a great dining experience!
I had read numerous great reviews about the Sunday brunch. Our experience lived up to, or exceeded every one of them. Incredible food, great Bloody Mary bar, and outstanding service. It's a must!
