I give them no stars. I am so upset. I cancelled our membership in April 2020, as we were no longer able to use the club due to Covid. The company started billing us again, without our knowledge or permission, starting in July 2020. When I tried to contact the company, it is impossible. There is no live person answering the phone and no way to cancel via the webset. You cannot even change method of payment or use any of their contact features because they are all greyed out. I keep getting billed after cancelling my membership, and keep having to dispute the charges through my bank account. Tried to cancel my account in May, and was told it was successfully cancelled (still have the email confirmation.) Checked back on the site, and my account showed as TERMINATED. Was billed in July, went back to my profile on their site, and my account showed as active again. Disputed the charge, requested to cancel my account again (2nd time) and never heard anything. John S******* in Santee is the worst person I have ever had to deal with! I had a charge two months after canceling and this fool told me he would only refund half the charge. Then this unprofessional guy wouldn’t tell me his last name to report him, but I found him online. He could’ve simply refunded me and let it be. I will never give that place another dime!

I was a client member of theMIRAMARr location in Florida for 5 years ..do to the pandemic like many others i had to cancel my membership not knowing what the future may bring ....so today i decide it to pass by there to see if i can get some sore of a day pass to see how the new policy work with the scheduling of the work outs and all that stuff ... Absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. If I could do 0 stars, I would. I made the switch to 24 hour fitness ($41/mo) from a comparable, base-level 24-hour gym ($20/mo) because I wanted a pool/ hot tub, sauna/ steam room, group fitness, closer location, and make sure I still had 24 hour access. Customer service upon entrance was great all up until the last 20 mins. At approximately 1340 one of your 24 hour fitness employees decided to get a head start on cleaning for the next session to come in. It’s fine that you are tapping into my last 20 mins to get ahead start and clean but when you start to purposely spray towards me and then make an excuse and say “well we’re gnna close in 15 minutes anyways” does not justify you spraying me with cleaning chemicals. Scam. They scam their customers. I cancelled at the start of the pandemic since we were on lock down and basically still are.. Yet they still keep charging me. I've reported them to my bank for fraud. It is making give them a star, id give them no star if it was an option. despicable.

I reached out to 24 hour numerous times in March requesting that I cancel my service. The state ordinance started March 16th and I was billed March 6th. I find it very predatory that 24hour fitness decided to charge me for the full month of March while operations were not in order. They have been charging me since! This company is awful for the lack of transparency and continuing to charge me when I have expressed through multiple outlets that I do not give my consent to charge. I purchased 2 month-to-month memberships for myself and my fiancé shortly before the COVID-19 outbreak. When the gyms closed, we were glad because it was for community health. Now that gyms have reopened, we cancelled our membership because we still do not feel comfortable working out in a gym with lots of shared equipment and people nearby.
