ori van lines – Today was moving day. But before today, it was planning day. This was my first (of many, I'm sure) moves. I was absolutely terrified of the moving process. a stress-free move – I scheduled a move on Monday to move my two bedroom townhouse and my friend's one bedroom apt in the same day to the same destination. I chose Ori van lines based on the good reviews , good pricing, and the fact that they didn't do the nickel-and-diming of charging for tape/paper/boxes/etc (which I found annoying). I was quoted $90/hr for a 3-person team, plus a $30 fuel surcharge for the long distance (it would have been only $70/hr for a 2-person team, but I definitely needed a team of 3 for this job).... read more

the best movers I've used thus far. – I'm obsessed with buying stuff I probably don't need, but want - cause I think it's an amazing deal, off of craigslist. It's becoming a dangerous and time consuming habit. when I found my a new apartment, my bf was not impressed. Everyone can probably agree that moving s##! It's stressful, time consuming, and costly. Having good movers is a key to a successful move, and these guys know just how to do it. I called mid-week and scheduled an appointment for the following weekend. these guys are fantastic. Of all the companies I called around to - and I did call around! - they quoted the lowest rate and actually came in under it. I have had problems in the past with estimates mysteriously doubling and tripling, but not so here. They moved a two bedroom apartment - and to my minimalist sweetheart's dismay, I tend to be bit of a packrat - including almost two thousand books in three hours total with a three person crew. I used ORI VAN LINES to move from an apartment to a condo a few months ago. My apartment was a third floor walkup, so there was no way I was doing that myself! I called probably about 3 weeks in advance and had no problem setting up the move for a Saturday. They called to remind me about the move the day before, and called right before they arrived, which was right on time. The movers were EXCELLENT. the best – If I ever move again, I know who I'm gonna call. ORI VAN LINES is the BEST moving company I have ever used. In fact, I've used them twice to move. They were so great the 1st time, I didn't once think of using anyone else for my 2nd move. When you call to set your appt, they are professional, efficient and thorough. They don't mind fielding your questions and will be honest with you about their scheduling. I found out that you can save money if you move on a weekday, as opposed to a weekend. Professional. Careful. Fast. Courteous. Usually you get careful OR fast, but they delivered on both counts. They were more careful (with my belongings and my house) than any other movers I've ever used. I wholeheartedly recommend them and would use them again without reservation.

ORI – Since I've turned 40 I just don't have the energy to carry furniture with the hubby like I used to, so we decided to use a moving service. the Ori van lines team was on time, and worked nonstop for us the entire day. We supplied the water and lunch, but the group rarely took a break, placed everything where I wanted it, and were very patient through the entire day.
