Top notch shoulder doc/surgeon. Highly recommend! Really knows his stuff. After tearing up my dominate shoulder pretty good in weight training mishap, Dr. Marks and his team were able to patch me up in a timely manner. Six months out of surgery and really pleased w/ progress thus far. Strength, stabilty and range of motion are all good and can sleep on it again. A+++ rating. Thanx doc!!!

Dr Paul Marks is the man! I thank him for the wonderful work he did on my knee. He was a very helpful and understanding guy. Also very sociable, which made it easier to communicate with him. No regrets.
Paul Marks may be one of the best known orthopedic surgeons "if you're an athlete", but for an ordinary person having a torn PCL I did not find him funny, or helpful. He did , in comparison to other physicians I have seen, a rather rushed and inaccurate examination. He only discussed one surgical option, which is rather dangerous, yet I have been advised by another well known ortho in Ottawa that there are other, less dangerous methods to perform a pcl reconstruction. Very good surgeon!! Had 3 scopes done and did a marvelous job (if you're wondering, I'm a pro athlete, so things happen). Great personality and sense of homour, which is hard to come by in that field.
Dr. Marks is a superb surgeon. He ensures the person who is considering surgery is completely aware of the commitment they are making with reference to the lengthy recovery process. (For myself it was an ACL reconstruction.) His informal and very humourous approach makes the overwhelming process much less stressful. I am extremely pleased with the results of my surgery six weeks ago. The doctor put me at ease prior to the arthroscopic procedure and the healing process proceeded without complications. I wouldn't hesitate to use this surgeon again and I would certainly recommend him to others.
After waiting many months to see an orthopedic surgeon about a recurring knee problem, Dr. Marks was a breath of fresh air. Advise was straight forward. Surgery was scheduled within weeks. Scope was quick and painless, and explanation of surgery included cool photos. Staff at hospital were friendly and efficient. They highly recommended him, always a good sign. Dr. Marks is at the top of his game, yo! I recommend him to everyone, without a doubt. This is a doctor that knows what he's doing, has a personality and an awesome sense of humour! He's human and he cares and thats more than you can ask for from most doctors! The staff at the hospital went on about how I was in great hands (literally). My recovery is going very well and just like he determined, I was running again at the 6 month mark! Thanks Dr. Marks - you are off the hissle, forshizzle!
