This surgeon has gifted hands. My ACL replacement sx went off without a hitch. My recovery was quick and I was back to work as an ER RN quicker than most would be. He is pleasant, knowledeable and reachable if you have any questions. It was a wait to get in to see him but worth it because he is excellent. Dr. Marks performed shoulder stabilization surgery on both my shoulders over the course of a year and a half. He took the time to identify my specifc needs and goals, regardless of me not being a pro athlete. He presented our options and explained everything to me in great detail. Excellent surgeon, ACL reconstruction went well. Staff at Sunnybrooke very friendly and caring. Post-op follow-ups very short in duration (only see him for a couple of minutes). Overall very satisfied with entire experience.
Excellent doctor, makes you feel at complete ease. Post-op appointments aren't the greatest as he only spends about 45 seconds with you. However, great pre-surgery, concerned, lets you decide for yourself. Attractive secretary who is extremely efficient as well. Wait times for an appointment are long, but the secretary is flexible.
I'm very happy I made the effort to travel to Toronto to have Dr. Paul Marks fix my ACL. I'm back in action and I finally have the stability back. I'm very confident in his ability to fix anything in the future.
After severing my ACL playing Competitive Volleyball I was very concerned that I wouldn't be able to play the same ever again. After 2 years I have 100% recovered from the Reconstruction that Dr. Marks did and don't have any pain or problems at all. Thanks!
I am an avid skier and tennis player. Dr. Marks responded to my needs in a very thoughtful and professional fashion every time I needed either a knee reconstruction or shoulder correction surgeries. He took his time to assess me, gave my body a chance to get stronger, and equipped me with a professional knee brace to see if the surgery could be avoided. I had multiple injuries to my right knee which I was told I was too old to have surgery on (40) at the time. I re-injured the knee many more times until my knee was completely unstable. Dr. Marks performed a very tricky procedure on my knee and it is remarkably better. It is no longer unstable and I am able to ski and play tennis on it thanks to Dr. Marks' skill.
Dr. Marks made me feel very comfortable with the procedure he would perform and he gave me great confidence in his ability. He chose to suture my knee meniscus injury instead of taking it out and I am all the better for it, he did an excellent job. Thanks.
