WOW!! I cannot rate this place high enough, my wife booked it for my 50th birthday and it was such a peaceful and tranquil setting. If you are looking for a relaxing break then this is the place to go. Between my wife and I went have travelled most of the world and yurtshire is certainly within the top 3 places we have been to.
Had a much needed 2 night break away from it all! We had a fire pit / BBQ, a pizza oven and a hot tub. What more do you need for a peaceful break. We were ideally located for walks to Fountains Abby and Studely Royal park. Would highly recommend!
Stayed here for 2 nights in september. The first night was during a big rainstorm. No problems with leaks, nice to listen to the rain on the roof. The yurt is very big inside, lovely comfy double bed. We opted for the breakfast and pizza oven. The iven was easy to use and made great pizza. The breakfast was from a butchers in Ripon, pay them a visit if you can. The Log fire stove is very good and keeps the yurt very warm. Our 2-night stay at Yurtshire was nothing short of magical! The peaceful surroundings and cozy yurts made for the perfect retreat to unwind and reconnect with nature. We treated ourselves to yoga classes, which were both relaxing and rejuvenating, and the pizza oven was a fun addition—just be sure to watch the instructional video before, as there's no phone service (but that added to the charm!).
