Traditional pub, great atmosphere...fish & chips first class
Nice little find.
Small local, serving good, home cooked pub grub in generous portions. Blackboard menu, which alters according to what's cooking. Popular for drinks too.

Friendly staff and good service. It's walkable from the campsite we stayed at. Had just drinks on late Friday afternoon. Also, lunch on Sunday. If you want the roasts, I recommend getting there early. I could have had Beef or Pork at 2 pm, but I fancied a lasagne. Looked homemade when it arrived, and came with lots of lovely chips, a crisp side salad, and garlic bread. My missus had a similar looking thing, which was vegetarian. Bought 2 bottles of cider to take back to the campsite.
