Food amazing,and very good b&b,everything you need for a little weekend away. Shop ,fishshop,Chinese, pizza shop and another pub all in walking distance if you dont want to eat with the pub.Decently priced too,staff friendly and welcoming, glamping pods with hot tubs too,very quite and beautiful little village.
A great country pub serving excellent food and at reasonable prices. It has a good selection of ales with even zero alcohol beer on tap. It has a warm comfy atmosphere plus a secluded outside garden at the rear.
A friend paid for an afternoon tea as a wedding present and we chose to go to Ye Olde Red Lion. The tea was gorgeous, lovely sandwiches and cakes followed by warm scones with jam and cream. The staff were friendly and attentive, but not overly so. Would definitely recommend and we will be back again.
