I reiterate most of the points in previous reviews. I took my two boys here a couple of weeks ago & it’s such a shame because the premise is such a good one. The supermarket was scarcely resourced at best, toys were completely filthy, the outdoor area was overgrown & the ice cream van in the middle had no resources whatsoever. Worst of all, there were ants crawling all over the surface by the till where you purchase your food; considering you aren’t allowed to take your own in, I was absolutely mortified. It was looking a bit tired. There were only two lassies working, but they did a really good job, and were very helpful.
Left disappointed. This place has severely declined since it opened which we were regular customers. The place has become really worn, the play areas are full of broken dirty toys. The “shop” was just a room with a load of recycling in it such as old plastic bottles and boxes. Not fun at all. The food took ages to arrive and they had a strange concept where they take your food to your table but not your drinks and failed to tell me I had to wait for my drink. I don’t know who said there had been refurbishments but this is definitely not the case from what I saw last week. A lot of the accessories and toys are missing including the 2 styling heads in the Hairdresser section & I gather some visitors have been caught taking toys home so no wonder they go missing which is shocking! Rusty nail sticking out of wooden structure in outdoor area & ants on the food worktop. So sad as this was such a wonderful and popular place when it opened 5 years ago. Since my last visit, Yayas house has clearly been deep cleaned and maintenance work carried out. My food was absolutely delicious. We will be back
