October 11, 2021 My address there was **** ********** ***Kernersville, NC 27284. I was an untroublesome tenant from 06/27/16, to 04/26/21. My last year’s monthly rent was $1,030.00 (+water), which I paid each month. After vacating, I received their non-certified final balance letter 05/21/21, totaling $1,709.00 for the last month’s rent and damage claims. To whom it may concern: The property received a dispute letter from the resident on 06/18/2021. The property responded via email on 06/21/2021 with attached documentation of pictured damages. We plan to remove the additional amount owed and her account will reflect a zero balance.
Garbage in recycling are horrible 2 weeks no pick up brings down the community. Owners and management to blame!! This is at the haven rtp in Durham, NC. Residents are being charged to get garbage picked up daily 5 days a week the complex can do better and have the garbage around the recycling are picked up on a weekly basis minimum . This is considered an amenity. Shame on them

The garbage and recycling pickup at Haven at RTP is handled by a 3rd party vendor and for reasons outside of our control was not picked up in a timely manner last week. This matter has now been addressed and rectified.
Hawthorne residential Partners is raising my rent 15%. This is equal to $240 more a month. I was told that this is the going rate for the area. This to me is price gouging. I have lived here for 4 years and my annual rent increase was no where near this amount. Seems to me that they are trying to push residents out so they can charge more. Nothing in my development has changed as far as better amenities, etc. North Carolina has no laws to prohibit a huge raise in rent like this. I’ve lived at the ************property for two years. My lease ends on 8/15. I requested an extension well over a month ago and it was denied by Rebecca W******. Yesterday I learned that my request was approved and no one informed me. They increased my rent to $1586 for month to month and there is absolutely nothing in writing from this company or from me agreeing to these terms. Ms. **** contacted our leasing office and Regional Manager via email on 6/28/2021 at 7:37am stating that she needed to extend her lease until 8.31.2021. The Regional Manager responded to Ms. ****’ email on 6.28.2021 at 9:55am informing Ms. **** that her apartment had been re-leased, and that she would need to vacate the apartment on her original notice date of 8.15.2021. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! RUNðŸƒâ€â™€ï¸ðŸƒâ€â™€ï¸!The construction is so bad and unprofessional in my building I literally have huge holes in my walls that I had to use duct tape to cover up, huge cracks up and down the walls as well. I have had an awful time here office staff sucks they say I owe more money every month my rent went from 985-1282 now Bc they "add on" things which I haven't been notified of. They try to charge me renter insurance which I carry on my own. The office never answers the phone I can never get a call back. Walls are paper thin the animal in the roof are annoying at 6am ans it's just not worth the money- I had to transfer apartments bc mold in my last unit that made my child really sick.
