Don’t stay here if you want to actually sleep… Stayed here recently for a wedding reception. The venue itself looked lovely, but unfortunately our bedroom was very uncomfortable. The mattress was far too soft, the duvet and sheets made us overheat, yet the room was too cold to go without one. The pillows were overly high and soft, which made sleeping difficult. Overall, we had a very poor night’s sleep, which was disappointing given the otherwise nice setting. We actually stayed in King Henry VIII’s old four post bed. I bet ... read more

We very recently stayed 2 nights at Worlington Hall (Mon & Tues) to attend a funeral wake at the Hall on Tuesday. It was a long journey from Durham on a bank holiday Monday so relieved when we arrived at this stunning location. We were greeted by a friendly and efficient uni student who checked us both in and took us to the George bedroom. The room was beautifully presented and spacious. We recently had our wedding at Worlington Hall and it really was the best day ever. We had compliment after compliment from our guests about the food, staff, atmosphere, every aspect. The whole planning process was so straightforward and stress free from the help of Emma; the team on the day set the venue up just how we had asked and imagined it all to look like.
