It was a fantastic experience to admire the birds up close. Guided by incredibly enthusiastic and experienced people. Stewart was a torrent of fascinating stories for the vulture experience, which we even got to feed. We concluded our experience with a flying display of different species. Definitely recommended for any (bird) nature lover. We wish the entire team the best of luck with their breeding project and keep our fingers crossed for a beautiful young vulture in the near future.
We arrived a little behind schedule so we caught only 2/3 of the 1:00 demonstration. We then viewed the birds in their cages, or on ties, for an hour, and then watched the 3:00 demonstration. All the birds in the two demonstrations were different. The handlers knew a lot. The owner is friendly, interesting, and willing to explain things. Our three hours there went fast. The birds are beautiful when seen up close.
We took our two year old today and he absolutely loved it. Staff were really friendly and the show was amazing - especially Stanley the stork! Would highly recommend for a fun, reasonably priced day out
Thoroughly enjoyed the Bird of Prey Experience. Head falconer, Stuart, was so passionate and the birds well looked after. We had a great family day and highly recommend.
