Just returned from a 4 night stay in The Red Squirrel Cottage, had an absolutely fantastic time! The location is as quiet as it gets, a short 5 minute walk to an amazing woodland walk or you can just walk around the grounds. The cottage is stunning and perfectly located with an incredible view of the loch. We eloped to get married at Woodside Lodge and we are so glad we did! Seal Cabin is a romantic little retreat, with a lovely deck to sit and watch nature. The location is stunning, so peaceful and with lots of places in the grounds to take beautiful photographs. We got married in the pavilion overlooking the water. We first spoke with Iain and found out the service they provided, afterwards we felt confident that it would be just what we were looking for. An intimate, stress free day in the most beautiful of settings. We were right. The location is just stunning, Seal cabin perfect for our needs and so restful on the loch edge. Booked the seal cabin for approx. 1 week in may 2025 and paid a deposit of £500. The company has since been uncontactable via email and calls and I have tried to reclaim the money via my bank but they have been unable to. It has been a few months now so I'm hoping this may nudge the company to reply.
