Had such a brilliant time on the basket making course! 🧺 It was really well run, with plenty of materials, refreshments, and a great atmosphere. Davie our tutor, was amazing — so patient and skilled, and he made the whole process easy and fun to follow. I came away feeling inspired (and with a basket I actually made myself!). Would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to try something creative and hands-on.

As a solo female on my first bushcraft weekend (with only camping as previous experience), I’ll admit I had plenty of questions and unknowns kicking around in my head beforehand. I've just got back from the Sweden Canoe Expedition led by Davie and Patrick. It was a wonderful experience full of lots of learning as we wild camped for a week in the Boreal Forest of Sweden and moved by canoe through lakes to each of the 4 camps. From learning to split wood with an axe, digging up spruce roots, Nalbinding, making a knife over a campfire, paddling at dawn for sunrise and paddling a night under the moonlight and stars it was a trip I will never forget. Me and my son had a wonderful day on the Map Navigation course with Barry. He was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and patient. We both learnt a lot and now feel much more confident to go out into the hills!
