The hotel is housed a number of old properties dating back to 1600 which only adds to its character and charm. For this reason there are a number of quirky area's and I particularly liked the bar area which had been taken back to the original beams. There was also a nice sitting area for coffee or reading. Rooms not applicable. We went with friends for breakfast. Yes we all enjoyed our breakfasts. Staff were very friendly. Definitely go there again. Thanks

We had a 2 night break at this gem of a place. The room was very clean and really well presented. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great break. It's perfectly placed to explore Rutland water and lots of other nearby attractions. The food was always excellent and the lunches were superb value for money. We will definitely be returning and look forward to it.
