All these years on, I can't believe this place is still taking people's money. I was screamed at down the phone by the manager/owner during the long fight to get MY money back. This seems to be how they are making money, allowing people to pay for a room then refusing to refund them when they either can't access the room or see the state of it and refuse to stay. I booked a single room at this hotel as I was visiting friends for the weekend who could only offer a sofa for the night,and boy was it cheap at £10,so I wasn't expecting much. After booking, a friend told me of the very bad reviews it had but as I had booked I went anyway. All I can say is I"m glad I did.The room was in fact a double and spotlessly clean.Clean sheets and towels, toilet and shower. The walls and ceiling were immaculate.
