Windstream sucks hight cost and low interest speeds.
Going through a break up, all I wanted to do this weekend was sit on my couch & binge watch some Netflix. Not able to do it because my "area is experiencing an outage". And when I call for the fifth time to see if they can restart my net, they are closed � Thanks a lot Windstream.
We have been waiting on fiber Internet to be installed a our new house for 2 months! Was supposed be in by December 30th 2016. Spring is coming soon...wordering if we will have by next Christmas. Best example of the right hand knowing what the left hand is doing I have ever seen. At this point I am pretty sure they are either lying or completely incompetent. Obviously if there were other companies available in our area we would have moved on long ago. To anyone to has a choice...Run!
Tired of having the service keep going off and on. Can not even watch 1 movie without it going out at least 20 times.
Our neighborhood is surrounded by other neighborhoods that have Charter. We haven't been able to get Charter as our neighborhood was considered ineligible for service by Charter due to the amount of empty lots we had at the time of construction. Now that 78 of the 80 lots are being claimed and or have homes built on them, Charter is moving in next month and starting construction. We have been paying around $70 a month for Windstreams 6mbps where Charter charges the same for 60mbps!!! I've continually asked Windstream for yea... read more
Service will drop off out of nowhere. They have no competition in my area therefore they are not worried about providing a better experience. Would not recommend to anybody.
Have had a upgrade work order canceled 4 times. Now they just don't know if it will happen. Terrible service. Treat customers with no respect.
Worst customer service and possibly the worst utility company ever! If you have another choice get something, anything else.
They are hiding infrastructure problems from stockholders. My switch is over utilized and they've known it for a long time! They sent me a letter stating I could upgrade to 24 meg. Well they charge me but the most the switch can do is 2-11 meg. I asked for refund in difference and they told me I would have to go back to dial up! What?
