I have been a patient on and off for the last 51/2 years. In that time, after undergoing 2 serious operations and regular checkups. I can honestly say that I have never been treated anywhere else with the dignity and respect that I have received at the Wilkes Barre Va. Hospital. The Doctors, nurses and staff are the best I've ever had the pleasure to have known. They have "my deepest" gratitude. Best wishes to you all. Robert OKeefe
Never had an issue getting treatment for anything in 4 years of coming to this VA. Just wish I could see my primary care physician more often.

I am extremely grateful for the outstanding care I've received for the last six years at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. I believe the treatment they provided for my sleeping disorder may have saved my life. They continue to treat me for a thyroid issue and have performed successful hernia surgery on me. What I most appreciate is the way I'm treated by the entire hospital staff. My father, who is 85..gets all his care through the VA. We have NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH DOCTORS. MEDICATIONS..AND THE NURSES ARE ALWAYS AMAZING AND TREAT MY FATHER WITH SOOOOOOO MUCH RESPECT. Hats off to the Wilkes-Barre VA.
So now you have drunk RNs aiding in emergency medical procedures? Really? Drunks work here. No wonder the care here is half added. Maybe your Dr's operate while on pain killers. Wouldn't put it past the VA.
I love working at the VA because I get to take care of all the people who served in the Military. I didn't join when I was younger so this is my way of giving back to our country. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Anyone rating the this VA 4 and 5 stars needs their god damn head examined. People that work their have serious attitude problems...Drs could care less if you died in front of them...noone has a fucking clue of what their doing...all employee's should be fired and replaced with veterans..
