Love the ppl here there so nice just slow at getting things moving
Sure the VA system is not perfect. Some doctors are fools. But the VA saved my life on more than one occasion.
Everytime i have been here they are very polite, doing everything to solve your problem and get you going home. Very pleased with this place.
The care I've received at the VA has always been first rate, and since my first visit back in 1988 has only gotten better. The support staff is courteous and they seem to truly care. The facilities have had a major upgrade over these 27 years. The only drawback is the parking and having to negotiate the hill in the wind of winter or the heat and humidity of summer.
Huge thank you to Dr Martin for taking an interest in my well being while I wait for my other appts. Stand up man who doesn't know it but saved my life.
I had a difficult situation for them to sort out at the VA. On top of that I have severe anxiety about doctors and hospitals. The women's health program people were outstanding with getting me sorted, making sure I knew where to go and got everything I needed done. Hands down they treated me with respect and made sure I was comfortable with everything going on. Fantastic people and service. Thank you!!!
You want socialized medicine? This is what you'll get. Be careful what you wish for. Watch your back, they KILL veterans here! And you'll be next!!! WHY WOULD YOU THINK THIS GOV WILL TREAT YOU ANY BETTER? Less than minus 100 stars
The VA Med Center of Wilkes-Barre is AWESOME! My father is a Vietnam Vet and has been treated so well over the last 10+ or so years. As he has gotten older, 75 years young, the VA keeps a close eye on his health and overall well being. They are very thorough and the nurses are fantastic. They even take time to listen and talk with me about his overall care. As we left today, it warmed my heart as they all thanked him for his service.
