An absolute hairdressing masterclass. Friendly and buzzy atmosphere, reasonable prices and attentive staff, with everything you need in a hairdressers. Alex is your guy and not only does he always do a brilliant job but, crucially, he always listens to exactly what you ask for and will do your hair in the way you actually want, no rogue cuts! Fully recommended.

I am VERY demanding with my hair and very picky when it comes to getting it treated, as my hair is very thick and it requires extra expertise to make it look and feel the exact way I want to. I have tried a few places since arriving in London and this has now become my go to place for two years and I will not go elsewhere as long as I live in London. Great Hairdressers. Especially Aurora, a lovely Italian Lady who, when I went the first time asking for a simple buzzer cut all over, suggested instead to leave it a bit longer on top and now it ends up being my go-to style whenever I get my haircut.

Couldn’t be happier with my first cut and blow dry at Why Not! I walked in on a whim, managed to get a same day appointment and had the lovely Bea as my stylist. With so much experience in the hair world, Bea guided me on the style, took note of what I liked and enhanced the final look. My new london hairdressers moving forward for sure!

I was visiting London near Westminster from the US and I brought my hair dryer and curler with me, thinking I could plug them in using my adapter. I almost set the hotel room on fire and was in a bind as it was the night before our professional family photo shoot and I hadn’t washed my hair in a week.
