Put simply, I love Whittlewood Shepherd’s Hut. It is so brilliantly and lovingly set out, with everything you’d ever want (and more) for your stay. The panoramic view is sheer bliss, with wild flowers, bird boxes and surrounding shrubs and hedges providing the perfect home for nature to thrive. I have been here several times now; the perfect antidote to city living! The hut is very thoughtfully planned out and appointed, with everything that you need to make a relaxing stay comfortable. During the chilly months, the fire is wonderful to cosy up with. The surrounding field is often visited by the delightful Zwartble sheep (and tiny cute lambs if you go before spring). My wife and l had the pleasure of recently staying in the Shepherds Hut. We were immediately struck by the beautiful and peaceful setting that the hut was set in overlooking a lovely pond and surrounded by the sounds of the countryside. The hut itself is beautifully designed, with attention to detail and containing everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
