We’ve eaten here a couple of times because the staff are incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is super welcoming and the food is delicious and quirky. We’ve already enquired about coming back here for Christmas to stay at the hotel. Love the decor too and the selection of whiskeys. Awesome place and hopefully be back before we go home!
Great hotel between Inverness and Fort Augustus.
Did not stop at the hotel but came in for meals whilst staying at wildeside Lodge meals was excellent and well portion coming back to wildside so we will book in for meals again
On the less busy side of Loch Ness, this roadside inn is an individual experience, with talented cooking, careful cosy design and a welcoming staff crew, all of whom clearly enjoy working here. Well-kept beers too. The only gripe was feeling a bit pounced upon when coming down early for dinner in order to have a couple of pre-prandial beers. Sit here not there sort of thing. That said, would readily return any time.
Exceptional bar meals. At very reasonable prices. I reckon all home made in their own kichen by the two friendly female hotel owners. Single track road makes this an awkward location to reach but well worth the effort. We were campervanning so didn't stay in hotel.
