I want to warn anybody thinking of doing business with this company. Do not buy hearing aids from them. When I went in to the Hearing Life ****************************************************************, I told the Hearing Care Provider that I wanted to purchase an Oticon hearing aid. I have used Oticon for 16 years and wanted to replace my current Oticon aids with new Oticon aids. My wife ordered hearing aids from HearingLife. The audiologist was professional and did a good job. However, when my wife received her hearing aids she was told that her portion of the ****, after insurance paid their part, would be $3,100. When I received the *** from the insurance company, they said that our responsibility would be $1,700. Because HearingLife was a preferred provider, they agreed to the discount rate. Worked here for almost a year now and I agree with the others.Micromanaging, manipulation, full on emotional abuse tactics, and minimum requirement of goals most call centers consider unrealistic. 1.6 stars on the BBB and you still treat us like sheep. Ive worked for companies that have much better ratings, and trust me, you can tell why.

I worked for Hearing Life for many years. As management changed it became very clear how much they do not care for their own people. They pushed positivity and being the best place to work but did not hold themselves to their own standards. I heard a higher up tell another higher up that we are all just sheep and they need to herd out the weak. Micromanaging, mean, bullies you if you don't do what they want, Manipulating. Do not work for them!

1. I give them zero star(s).2. I was billed for 2 sets of hearing aids that my insurance paid for in full. 3. I was appalled by this and wrote a letter to them, giving them the chronological order of events. They submitted the forms to the insurance company. BCBS paid for both sets. I took the check to the establishment and was instructed to deposit the checks into my banking account, then write a check to them. I did so. 4. After a few weeks, I was billed for the entire amount of both hearing aids. I am submitting this comp... read more

I really don't know what to say to this as she has never complained to us. She was billed for 2 sets because her husband and her bought hearing aids. Her husband never even wanted to come back for any adjustments but she did. She did also come in with the insurance check that was sent to her and in her name. We are told we cannot take those checks as they are a third party check. So I apologized and asked her if she could deposit it and bring in another check. Which she did and we sent to corporate. Over the last several years, my wife has received several pieces of mail offers (AKA ********) from this company. The last piece of ******** we received was on 17 Feb 2022. We're very sick of getting this ******** in our mailbox!!!!!I've sent them many letters requesting they remove my wife from their mailing lists. Each time they put the blame on us??? They sent the **** ********.... they can stop it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WE DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY, NOW OR FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!OUR MAILBOX BELONGS TO **!!!!!!!... read more

It takes ***** business days for all the mailers to stop, since they are processed in advance. If the last one you received was February 2022, then you are not receiving them anymore. There have been at least 2 mailers sent out after that date. I apologize for the inconvenience and there should now be no more mailers.

Very unhappy. She spent maybe ten minutes with me but never explained anything about my hearing loss. Just took out a pair of hearing aids and said these are what I should get, their brand new top of the line over $6500 hearing aids. I said there wasn't way I could afford that much. After looking at her paper she said that there's one other pair that might work. They were over $3500. I asked about other ones and the options I have. The place my Mom goes used to be Aveda, now it's HearingLife. Went for a hearing test as Mom hadn't had one for two years, has had hearing aids for 6 years. They did the test, then passed us off to someone else to interpret the results. Avada never did that. i knew something was up. Long story short, the person we were passed to felt like a very hard sales person. It is not uncommon to have 2 providers assisting 1 patient. Thinking in medical fields we often see a nurse then are turned over to a doctor. In our clinics it is common that a provider completes the testing and another reviews results with the patient. We also like to offer and discuss new technology when a patient has hearing aids over 4 years old. Having difficulty hearing with an ill fitting new aid , I was remeasured & told that a replacement would be delivered in 2 weeks. That was Mid October 2021**** it is now the end of January 2022 & they have cancelled 3 times and still can't give me an appointment ! **** One excuse after another ! I had to leave a star rating... but there is no place to leave a 0 star !!!!!

Due to a local power outage on October 29, 2021 our HearingLife office was out of service for 3 days. The patient was seen on Nov 2, 2021 when the clinic reopened and on Nov. 23, 2021 molds were ordered for him. On Dec. 17, 2021 the patient was contacted to schedule his next appointment. Due to our closure, the clinic was behind schedule and the next available appointment was 1/24/22. Patient was put on a waiting list to be called if we had any cancelations. The patient was seen for their set appointment on 1/21/22.
