Shady staff and completely unprofessional. The sales staff at Mazda of National City appear to be very courteous and helpful while selling a car. Unfortunately as soon as the car is sold all professionalism goes out the window. They are very dishonest and do not back up their word. used car sale i was pleasantly surprised when i went to look for a vehicle on a sunday, when i figured they would be closed, and actually saw a saleperson working who ended up selling me a vehicle the same day.
Bad times I bought a used Dodge Caravan there. The salesman told us there was a manufactuers warranty. However, after owning the car for two weeks we found out that it was a car from Canada and the manufacturers warranties were void. We ended up returning the van and buying elsewhere.
Nightmare Dealership sells cars with safety issues that Service Dept admits to having knowledge of. Car has been back for service 4 times in 8 months, and issue is still not resolved. Sales Manager apologized and arranged a meeting to "get me out of the situation," then asked if I had brought cash down for a newer more costly vehicle. Town North Mazda has a Great Service Department I bought my first car here. I go back for regular scheduled maintenance on my car because I love the staff. The service department is awesome. Very friendly and upfront about the time it may take on the car and they go out their way to make you feel taken care of. Penny, Victor and Mike you are the best. But they are only as good as the mechanics. The mechanics will leave little notes and discounts in your car for next time.
Disappointed and Frustrated I recently paid $1,000 for service and still have the same problem and am very disappointed, especially since I bought my car there. I am not a car mechanic, so when they diagnosed my issue, I didn’t complain or argue, I just paid them their price, which was $1,000 to replace a fuel pump. Only interested in selling their expensive cars I had been car shopping for about 2 weeks for a used vehicle and found one I was interested in at Town North Mazda.
