Mazda Service After the closure of El Cajon Mazda, I received a letter from Mazda to have my Warranty service performed at Westcott. I took the car to Westcott for routine service (~25K) and later found that at least one item they claimed to have serviced (battery check and cleaning) was never done.Shortly thereafter the battery died and upon removing the battery cover to jump the car it was badly corroded. When this was reported to the service manager he made a lot of non-sense and was indifferent and defensive. I reported ... read more
POOR MANAGERIAL SKILL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE I brought my Mazda5 that I purchased new from Westcott in for the sixth time to have the key fob repaired, which I leave as a spare at my house which stopped working from lack of use? 1st visit: Service manager fixed half of key and in turn damaged the other half so the two would not stay together. 2. Supposedly got a new bottom half which fell apart on the way home about ten miles. 3. returned and they pushed the two half's together called 3-4 hours later to say it was fixed. 4. an... read more
Westcott Mazda is dishonest!!!!! I recently went to Westcott Mazda to buy a used car. I can't tell you what an unpleasant experience it was for me. I was there for three hours, had an agreed-upon price, was at the finance guy's desk when he told me it was $1,500 more than I was told it was going to be. These people are nice and helpful until it's time to sign, and then the game changes. When I confronted the salesman, he just backpeddled and said "I told you it would be around that price." Well, that's not "around" to me. An... read more
Hassle free and top notch service! I'm the type of person who usually doesn't write reviews, but I do try to read a lot of them before I spend my hard earned money. I had to write a review about Westcott because of the extra mile they went in getting me what I wanted. I went through a lot of hassle before buying from them. Around a week ago I bought a new Mazda 3. I work around 60 hours a week, and I travel everywhere on the west coast and the neighboring states. I need a car that gets great gas mileage, and is reliable. The... read more

Dont Do it. So where do I start... Was low balled on my 2007 Magnum Trade in But did it anyway- should have went to Car Max instead for most out of your trade in. Got the Car home Engine Light Came on, they said they would reset but never mentioned fixing the sensor. My Brother is a Tech so he reset but the Light Still comes back on. One of the power switches on the Drivers side does not work, I metioned it to them and they never offered to fix. The Sales Manager Kaz was not really too profesional and I actually left the Dea... read more

I looked in all of cali, and even in oregon and washington but they had it and for such an AMAZING price I drove down as soon as I got off work to see if I could get a good value for my trade in and I most definatley did! They were professional and completely informal throughout the entire procedure. I have never been so comfortable buying a car in my life. They did n... read more
Horrible Experience!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! The finacing department (or should I say individual) at Westcott Mazda in Nation City happily gave us the absolute worst customer service / buying experience I have ever had. My biggest mistake, not looking online at the reports on their service and financing. Also spoke with my sister who had some nightmares with their parts department. RUN AWAY!!!
Westcott Mazda is not a place to go buy a car Very dishonest dealer. Very pushy during negotiation. Present deal to us with lies after lies. They were rude to us. Please don't go there to buy a car
