Pristine accommodation. Wonderful place to have a stay with family. Some wonderful touches like the use of wood for the burner, and the lemon cake on arrival. We're going back!
We just had the loveliest weekend away at The Dairy cottage in West Heath Barn - the property was really spacious but warm and cosy and everything was immaculately clean and finished to a very high standard. Beds were comfy and every detail was thought of. It really exceeded our expectations. Even had a cake waiting for us! The little paddock out the front was great for our greyhounds to have a safe runaround. West Heath Barn was absolutely perfect for our family (three adults, three kids - 10, eight and six - and a dog; we stayed in the Cart Lodge and its annexe room). Within five minutes of arriving the lovely owner Gill had whisked the kids off to feed her chickens, which they loved, but not as much as they loved frolicking with Gill and Dave's energetic dog Woody (guests have access to a paddock for dog exercising their own dogs). We had a fantastic time staying at the Dairy Barn during the Easter holidays.|The barn was super clean. It was very well equipped too. Nothing was too much trouble for Gill & and Dave, and the Alpacas were very friendly.|Perfect get away for us, a family of 4 (children aged 9 & 7 years )....plenty of fantastic days out within easy reach, including Holkham, Wells, Brancaster, Sandringham & Bircham's windmill.|Thank you.
An excellent place to spend a family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) holiday. The hosts, Gill and Dave, are very friendly and helpful with great local knowledge and suggestions for walks, pubs, beaches etc. The cottage is spacious and attractive with wood beams and terracotta tiles.
