If you would like to cruise on the Thames or local canals then the Wessex Rose is the boat for you. First class accomodation and food to die for. Karen and David are dedicated to providing the best holiday for you and they succeed in no short measure. Just great.
We’ve just completed a 7 day River Thames cruise on the Wessex Rose Hotel Boat and it’s been an excellent, relaxing break. The board arrangements are ‘all inclusive’ and there is a wide range of drinks and the meals, (breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning coffee with home made biscuits and afternoon tea with home made cakes) are excellent! The hosts and Wessex Rose owners, Karen and David are very attentive!
Returned from a fabulous cruise on this wonderful boat. What a way to see the English countryside at its best and to sample the delights of the English waterways. We have never ever been made as welcome anywhere as we were the moment we stepped onto the Wessex Rose, the accommodation was fabulous with luxury all the way through, our own en-suite and sumptuous beds. At the mid point of our second cruise aboard the Wessex Rose while anticipating a committed cruise in 2019 and contemplating another in 2020, I have to say our views are this is a 5 star experience in every way. While I can understand others may differ, it is a unique experience not to be duplicated anywhere else I have traveled and, for sure, not where I live.
