I went in after a referral by my primary provider for severe pain in my left hip joint. After several diagnostic X-rays, I was told next to nothing about the cause of my problem, my current condition or possible future prognosis. Never even shown the X-rays. Cortisone injection, and out the door. I will look for another provider after consultation with my primary physician.
I love Dr Brooks. I had a total knee replacement on 10/10/2022, and almost two months out, my recovery is going great, pt is impressed with how well I'm doing. Dr. Brooks has never failed me. He always gives me options, takes the time to talk and answer my questions. As well as talk about the things I like to do, like hiking. You couldn't ask for a better surgeon or person. I recommend him all the time.

Dr Brooks has performed orthopedic surgeries on me 12 times and I would not trust anyone else. He is a caring professional and a talented surgeon. Dr Brooks has kept me working for 17 years since my first knee replacement.
Hip replacement went much better than expected
I made an appointment with Dr. Brooks due to a shoulder ailment. I am a frequent tennis player and I anticipated that my years of tennis had finally caught up with me and it would be time for some type of surgery. Much to my delight, Dr. Brooks quickly analyzed the problem, gave me a shot in the shoulder, and I am healed without having to handle any snakes. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Brooks reassured me that even at my age of 85, he had done several recent surgeries like my hip replacement. I’m glad I had the surgery. Great experience overall with his team.
Whenever I need to be seen, Dr. Brooks is available. He’s very knowledgeable about what’s going on with an issue that I have and very personable. A great combination for a doctor.
