Real Good
I'm always in for a follow-up visit for knee injection. He is nice and very knowledgeable. The wait time is really slow. They are never on time.
Of the eight different Orthopedic doctors I've had to have, Dr. Brooks is by far my #1 overall choice.
Dr Brooks replaced my right hip around four years ago and my lady partner’s left knee about two years ago, with absolutely perfect results. We could not be more satisfied. Yesterday , April 4, he gave me an injection in my left hip, which hurt me on and off over several months. It seems to have worked. Feel no more pain today. In my view, there is no one better than Dr Brooks.
I went to Dr. Brooks with significant knee pain. He took an X-ray and explained my knee was bone on bone. He said cortisone would help this time and maybe one more but then I’d have to consider replacement. When the cortisone wore off I went to a different Dr. He X-rayed my knee and what I saw was the radiology report of mild arthritis, & no bone on bone. Dr Brooks has helped my wife and I, keeping us working and productive. He has done surgery on wife on friday nite that he didn't have to do. He reconstructed wife shoulder and after 12 therapys she has more movement then before her accident. Will recommend to every one who needs orthopedic surgeries. Great doctor, good friend and compassionate. Thanks for the years of keeping us up and running.
Dr. Brooks worked swiftly in providing surgery on my wrist and stabilizing my leg after I broke both of them. This greatly assisted in a speedier recovery. In addition the physical and occupational therapy I received from EmergeOrtho was friendly and exceptional care. Patty and Aaron specifically, helped me reach my fullest potential while remaining positive and encouraging.
Had serious pain in my left elbow, made an appointment with Blue Ridge Bone & Joint in Hendersonville (now Emerge Ortho). Was assigned to Dr. Brooks, who gave me a shot in the back with the assurance that it might last about three months. Have been pain-free for over three years since then. Wonderful indeed!
Dr. Brooks is a bully and a horrible person. He caused my husband to nearly bleed to death following shoulder surgery then harrassed him nearly every day while he was in terrible pain. His arm isn't usable and will never be the same. It may not be fixable. My advice to anyone contemplating orthopedic surgery would be to choose another doctor!
