As a 63 year old female with severe arthritis I was ambivalent about having a total hip replacement of my right hip. Dr. Brooks is a kind, compassionate Surgeon. He did two knee replacements, and did an excellent job. I didn't have any complications, and I healed beautifully. I have very minimal scaring due to his excellent skills. I highly recommend Dr. Brooks for your orthopedic care!

After years of pain, Dr. Brooks knew right away what I needed to do! I am very happy with both Dr. Brooks and the people in his office. They work together like a well oiled machine. So far he has replaced my right hip and will replace the left one soon. My only regret is that I had not seen him sooner! I would not hesitate to see him concerning any joint problems.

Dr. Brooks expressed frustration with being understaffed at the outset of our consultation and that mood continued throughout. He said I clearly had a problem based on the reports I had sent but offered no solution other than physical therapy, not stopping to ask my past experience with pt. There was no listening or asking questions to learn what I had done before.He told me to come back in two months without giving any specific instructions about what should happen in that timeframe or what he would recommend going forward.... read more

Dr Brooks is fantastic he treats me with respect he listens he explains things to me I have never left his office and felt like I didn’t receive the the very best He has been my Dr for over 20 years and I have recommended him to many of my friends and family there is absolutely no other Dr I have ever felt like truly cares about his patients as much as he does he truly is the very best!

Dr Brooks performed knee replacement surgery on me on October 18, 2023. I have had a rapid and smooth recovery, and do not believe the experience could have been better. I also appreciate that he did not rush me into surgery, but instead made sure that I was informed about and mentally ready to take that step.

Dr. Werner provided information about total knee replacement, and answered all questions.He recommended a joint replacement class prior to surgery. Also he discussed, and emphasized the necessity of following all of the post-op instructions and the physical therapy requirements. His expertise and precision were evidenced by a great surgical outcome and an almost invisible scar (which may completely disappear). With great confidence I would choose him again if needed.

Dr. Brooks listened to my request to have both knees done at the same time, although that is not a common thing they do. He is knowledgeable. He has done a lot of knee replacements. He is confident that his surgeries will be successful. He cares about his reputation. He wants his patients to be happy with the results.
