Worst Experience Ever - Ongoing – Hurt my foot by stepping in a hole carrying mattress helping someone move. I went to Wedgewood. I was diagnosed by Doctor without taking X-rays. He told me I had torn ligaments and no broken bones. He gave me an ankle brace and told me to use crutches for three weeks. He told me all of the instructions would be on the paperwork when I left. Great Experience! – I went to Wedgewood Urgent Care last week after a bad fall on an icy sidewalk. The staff front staff saw me limping in across the parking lot and came out with a wheelchair! I was back with hardly a wait at all and the entire staff was great. It's nice having a place right around the corner where I can receive quality care and even an x-ray without waiting in the ER for hours! Highly recommend this facility!!!
Wedgewood Urgent Care – I had a great experience at Wedgewood. I came in for flu like symptoms. I had about a 45 minute wait, which wasn't bad at all since I have had to wait longer at my family doctors office with an appointment! I do understand that "urgent care" doesn't mean that I will be seen urgently, it means that the matter I am being seen for can't wait until I can be seen by my family doctor 2 weeks from now. The doctors were great and the staff was excellent! I would recommend to all!!
Best Urgent Care – Not sure why all the negative reviews. Great Urgent Care! Fantastic physicians and staff. 20 mins is a long wait??? Does anyone take into consideration that a group of people might all walk in at the same time??? I have gone a couple of times and waited a short time and others have been longer. It A) beats waiting until the next day to get into a family doctor and B) waiting HOURS at the ER. I think some people need to come down to reality. Wonderful Urgent Care!!!!
arrogant follow-up – Went to urgent care on a Friday with larngitis. Monday and I am still miserable. Sunday was the worse. Had a follw-up call on Monday and when I requested information and a recommendation for a decongestent, the arrogant staff member who called and asked me about the service I received told me to go to the interent! Would not, or could not give me the information or offer to contact a doctor with my question. I am not sure why the high charge for service when you cannot get service. NOT SO Urgent Care – I went to Wedgewood Urgent Care last week for seeking immediate attention. I had a flu like symptom and condition,, I was already feeling somewhat dizzy,, and couldn't even sit up. On the form initially filled out, I explain, feverish, coughing, feeling dizzy, already. BEWARE!!!!! – I have had good experiences in the past with this place, but last week when I took my son there after a car accident (when he refused to go to the ER), and they said has may have a headache for a day or two and sent him home but would be fine. Then less than 12 hours later took him to another doctor who diagnosed him with a concussion! They (wedgewood)didn't even advise him not to drive or anything!!! Should have gone to the ER – Made a trip to Urgent Care on a Thursday evening with fiance who had high fever for 3 days and kidney area pain after bout with UTI. Called ahead to suggest how sick person coming in was asking whether they thought I should take her to ER. Told me to bring her in. Was welcomed by an admissions person who could care less how sick she was, treatment staff put her on saline for an hour. Had to beg them for more direct treatment, antibiotic, an actual diagnosis. More than just fast! – I have visited this center twice and both times been very pleased with the doctors with whom I had interaction. In fact, I even asked one why she was not in her own practice. Her reasons were largely logistical . . . she seemed to have everything a private practice doc would need: good listening skills, pleasant bedside manner and a thorough, knowledgeable approach.
