I want to thank the entire staff at WEDGEWOOD URGENT CARE,IN POWELL. I VISITED THE FACILITY DUE TO A FALL AND WANTED TO BE SURE THERE WERE NO BROKEN BONES. i CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH AS TO THE ATTENTION GIVEN TO ME ,IT WAS OUT- STANDING. FROM THE TIME I WALKED IN THE FRONT DOOR UNTIL I LEFT THANKS AGAIN TO ALL, I APPRECIATED YOU CONCERN REGARD- ING MY PROBLEM. SINCERELY, LARRY COLACCI

made us wait 45 minutes while my VERY sick mom waited in doctor's waiting room. She never saw the doctor as she walked out after waiting too long, unattended. They were totally unapologetic as she left. They said they would call in her prescription but never did. I went back to complain to the doctor and they lied saying, "we don't do phone in prescriptions." Again, totally unapologetic. We felt like cattle with dollar signs over our head!

Poor service, poor treatment! After checking in and waiting an hour, the doctor spent less than a minute examining then insinuated that I was there to seek pain meds. She spoke down towards me and was very rude. Look for another office!

Dr. Kimberly was such a nice Doctor. I had a cold and she prescribed all the right medications. I recommend anyone to go to this hospital. Very nice staff.:}

Don't go there! I went in due to difficulty breathing and dizziness. After I was brought back to an exam room, I was left to sit on the exam table for an hour. No one came in the entire time. Who leaves someone reporting dizziness unattended to sit up high on a narrow exam table for that long? A NP finally came. She was curt and lacked any kind of concern, but most importantly didn't take my symptoms seriously. I never saw a doctor-not once! Dangerously poor care is what you'll receive there. Don't go there!

I would not go here again. Unethical in the way that they bill. They found a way to bill a small laceration on my son nearly $500 to my insurance in which we have to pay 60%. He was in/out in 20 minutes and it left a scar. The report says wound was 1.5 cm and was actually 0.4 cm so they could bill the higher amount. Companies like this are what is wrong with healthcare costs today. Took my mother there for a swollen hand due to her cat scratching her. The staff brought her a wheelchair since she has trouble walking. They took her in promptly and we were out in less than an hour. So quick and helpful.

Our insurance is not accepted at our area urgent care, so we have driven 50 minutes to Westar for child injuries and adult issues (always seems like those emergencies happen after hours!) and have always been impressed with them. We've found the wait time is generally short. It is an urgent care, so you can get them at a busy time; however, they are very efficient at processing people through. I will never go back there again....waited one hour in a waiting room to see a doctor only to be greated by a PA.....I didn't pay for a PA...I also don't believe she was qualified. Again will never go back there again.
