My experience with this company has been awful. I came in looking and ready to buy a vehicle off their lot with no request other than to run my numbers and see if the payment works in my budget. I WISH I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS!!! Was going to purchase a 2019 Jeep Cherokee from their lot in Arlington Heights, IL today(4/4/19). Lexus of Brookfield Price quoted was not what was charged. $800 in add-on fees when finalizing the paperwork. Promised to include a lifetime wax product, but they have no idea if it was applied before I picked up the car. Make sure you get all promises in writing because they seem to have a fair amount of turnover. Just because someone promised you a free detailing or free oil change, there is a good chance that person will no longer be at the dealership when you try to get the work done. They lied to me and gave me a false carfax on my car. My car had been in a bad accident and had multiple owners. Also multiple recalls. I only found that it was a fake carfax was I went to trade my car in and the dealership pulled one and I saw a real carfax. I also traded my car and gave them 500.00 towards the car and in stead of them taking that off the price of the car they ADDED it to the total of the car. Nothing but recalls and problems with the car. NEVER WILL I BUY FROM THERE AGAIN
When it was time to talk numbers, Alex grouped the figures together. I said I wanted them broken down. The dealership "offers" an add-on Napleton Experience package. I said "What if I don't want it?" This dealership is very shady. I went in to make a cash purchase on a certified used Kia. After the test drive I was told there was an additional $1395 being added to the price for a 1 year service package. I explained that I was not interested in this offer and I was told they could not 'remove' the charge. Initial experience was good with our salesman, Josh. Until I realized their finance guy slipped in another $1,495 on the cost of the vehicle, somewhere between showing me the price on the computer screen and printing the physical paperwork I signed. Thinking about buying a car from Napleton Auto Group. Better think twice. Bought a Toyota Rav 4 and would love for you to know about our awful experience with this business. Sales and Service team work very hard to hide problems with Toyota parts and their suppliers. Toyota does not stand behind their product, they hide issues with their vehicles and they do not like for anyone to call them out on it.
This dealership lets a salesmen take customers out where he does the test drive first. He speeds to show how fast it goes and breaks hard and almost hits another car to show how well the breaks work. This not acceptable nor professional. I’m pregnant and we don’t need to be scared of our safety when trying to buy a new car.
