We were there only 10 minutes before Wyatt was in the back room getting attention. They brought him to xray after waiting only another 10 minutes and every healthcare worker was efficient and friendly. Xrays were done quickly and the RN came and told us the results in a very short time. We were out the door with crutches and recommendations for care within a couple of hours.

My 3 year old son fell out of bed at 3 am and severely lacerated his bottom lip. I walked into the ED with a screaming child with a face full of blood and was immediately brought to a room. He required conscious sedation and sutures to his bottom lip. He also had some damage to his teeth and the ER doctor Dr. Francis was kind enough to call our private dentist and discuss his exam with her so our continued treatment plan was already in place before we left the Emergency Room. My father came in with the long list of medications that he takes. A copy of that list was made in the emergency room but by the time he got to the inpatient unit the list had disappeared. Poor communication and coordination in that area of his particular care . His nurse, Lorraine, who work the evening shift on the fifth floor was phenomenal. I got there a little after 7am ,I was checked in with test ran,and diagnosed by 11,,I was set for surgery by 2pm,and in recovery by 4pm,,all the saff was wonderful, and my doctor was excellent, trust and believe I will never go to st. Mary's again!
