I was, at the emergency room, for over 2.5 of a hour, I had to walk out because the pain was killing me, I ask while I am waiting give something to call my pain, they ignore me, after waiting that and so much pain had no choice but to go somewhere else where they took care of me, that was walk in Clinic. It happen on 4/30/17. I was in shock, since waterbury hospital, had been my favorite hospital, it where I have birth to my son, had my breast cancer treatments. It was horrible. I really don't think I will go there again.
My mom was admitted to the ED on 4/28 with symptoms of a stroke. She was seen immediately and taken to the code room where within minutes she was evaluated, bloodwork drawn EKG done and she was on her way to CT. Within an hour and a half of the start of symptoms she was given TPA. The staff was incredibly professional and very kind to my mom. They were so caring nice from registration, to nurses prep me for surgury! Also the aides helping me bathroom etc. Anthesiologist excellant had some concerns to nurses in o.r. and of course 5 stars for dr. Moy!
Brought my son to the emergency room at 11:30 at night for what seems like an allergic reaction and swollen knees. It's now almost 5:30 in the morning and the only thing that's been accomplished is blood work. Mind you he's only 4 years old..He's not allowed to eat or drink and it's not getting any better yet worse. Staff is absolutely horrendous. I usually prefer this hospital over saint Mary's but this will be my last time coming here.

We've had two really good experiences here in the last 6 months. Both very serious issues. One was completely overlooked by another hospital.
