I went in for a catheterization. Needed two stents but couldn't be done. Dr said bypass needed. Needless to say I was upset. Excellent staff in the OR. Lucy and company, I love you. And the second floor Nurse Nora who made sure I was oriented to what to expect soon with my bypass went above and beyond. She was there and I mean there for me. I even was introduced to a woman that had the surgery to reassure me I'd be fine. Thank you Nora for being so empathetic to my feelings. You really won't be forgotten. Mother in law was admitted last night. First time ever an ER Dr called me (I am her contact person). Was in critical condition and sent to ICU. The staff was so competent and compassionate. Even though there was nothing that could be done to save her. I feel that they did an awesome job. To all the Dr and staff of 2/19 in the surgical ICU thank you very much. Karen Crosby
