It took 8 hours in ER before they brought my wife to a room. She has stage 4.lung cancer and they diagnosed her with pneumonia and said they were admitting her. It took them 4 to 5 hours from that point to get her into a room. We arrived there at 4:20 pm and didnt get to a room until 12:30 am. She was freezing cold and exhausted. Staff was great just not enough of them and it wasn't that crowdef. New for profit ownership has caused a sere deterioration of service.

My experience with the Waterbury Hospital Emergency was very disappointing to me. I feel that they could have done more for me. They took an x Ray and did a ct scan and told me that I have tendonitis gave me a shot for the inflammation and send me on my way and told me to follow up and make an appointment with Chase Ortho Clinic. I have a lot more pain now after visiting the emergency room my pain is a 10+

Brought my 87 year old mom in to ER. Staff was very courteous and they took her in very fast. The nurse and DR were very attentive to her. Overall the experience was very good.
