I have been a member since 2012 & I've heard plenty of personal testimonies from previous members about the unethical, money grubbing practices of TSI. During the COVID-19 crisis here in NYC, there is no way to contact member services and no statements being issued that inform members about whether or not we will be charged fees while the club is closed. I have emailed, called, and tried everything I can, with 0 response. I lost both my jobs on 3/15/2020 and no one, jobless or not, should have to pay for unavailable services... read more

Cannot believe they haven’t responded to requests about fees during the mandatory closure. As soon as this is over I plan on cancelling my membership and demanding they waive the cancellation fee for not holding up their end of the contract. Disgusted.
Responsiveness to its customers. It's virtually impossible to get through to their so-called customer service people to settle charges or to resign membership. Is anyone currently at the Long Island location which seems to have relocated from Penn Plaza?
Are you automatically freezing memberships as you are closed? I am trying to get an answer and no one is answering any of your modes of customer service. Please put out an email to officially announce your closing and what we can expect regarding automatic payments ASAP!!
NYSC, let your members know your plan for billing while you are CLOSED due to Covid-19 like EVERY OTHER GYM. Announce that you are freezing any future billing until you are able to reopen, like EVERY OTHER GYM. This is the ONLY thing you can do without losing ALL your clients.
