Really recommend Steve and the fantastic Wall Away team. We had a tricky task of replacing a load-bearing wall to create an open-plan kitchen and lounge space. Steve was very transparent about potential issues that may arise, and the costs that may be involved, so when issues did occur there were no nasty surprises in regard to costs involved. Wallaway has just finished a job in my kitchen...removing a load-bearing wall, installing columns and beams, widening a door opening and making various other structrual changes. Steve and team were fantastic from beginning to end. I paid a deposit in Nov, was told a day later that they would start in Feb. They arrived at 8.30am on the exact morning they promised and they finished just over 3 weeks later exactly on schedule. Steve and his team removed a chimney stack top to bottom from our house. We wanted to use this to change the layout upstairs and they also completed this aspect of the work for us. They did a fantastic job and completed the work to a high standard, including fully making good. They were also clean, courteous and respectful throughout (we have a toddler and had to live in the house through the work and they made that possible through their approach). We had a great experience working with Steve and team. From the outset, their pricing and availability were clear and transparent, which made planning straightforward. The team was professional, courteous, and maintained a high standard of cleanliness throughout the project. As we were living in the property during the work, we really appreciated how little disruption there was.
