Smart buy for the price..running shoes needed When you go bargin hunting you must be a smart consumer. Know what you are buying and looking for BEFORE you enter the store. Great Experience, no problems The trip to walker furniture was a great one, I have never been here before and it is by far the biggest furniture store i've ever been in, two stories and i felt like i was in the galleria mall. Stalker Sales people My boyfriend and I went ti the showroom to pick out a new bedroom set. We were immediatley bomb barded with sales people. We said we just wanted to look around and would ask questions when needed. As we were continuing to walk around there was a train of sales people following us. No place to rest his weary bones! My dad recently made what I would call a fairly large purchase at Walker. The salesman made a LARGE error in my opinion and the delivery department made it worse! Unfortunately, the salesman only changed the "bill to" address in the computer and not the "ship to" address. OK, so mistakes happen, BUT when the delivery department was contacted and told that they were at the wrong addresss, the reply was, "Well then, we'll have to schedule you for delivery tomorrow." I HATE WALKER FURNITURE! Walker Furniture is horrible! I have never been so dissatisfied with a purchase. I ordered my $2000 worth of furniture and it didn't come in until 6 weeks after I paid for it, when it was supposed to be to me in 7 days. Once I made numerous calls about wanting my furniture, it finally comes. When it was delivered, they didn't bring one of the pieces I ordered and in the back of my dresser, there was a soccer ball size hole in the back. Worst Furniture Store in Las Vegas I wish I had read the poor reviews before purchasing my great room furniture last year. In less than a year my sofa started falling apart. They came out and repaired it because it was under warranty, but 2 months later, the problem is back. I don't think Goodwill would want this sofa. I won't be shopping there again.
