I am ashamed that this is happening all over our country. He told you it was a service animal and instead of thanking him for his service and sacrifice you berated him? No Walgreens for me anymore!

Your store, and brand I will never shop in again. Is this how you treat people, disabled persons and military vets? I am writing ans calling all VFWs and DAVs in your area and telling them all to boycott your store and all Walgreens. Go to CVS where they treat us with dignity. I will also do the same in my home state of Florida and be sure to tell them which store and where they can blame the loss of income from. I have moved all of my scripts to CVS, and already 15 others of my local DAV as well.
I will no longer be shopping at Walgreen's until a PUBLIC apology is issued to the veteran for how he was treated and a corporate company wide policy change takes effect. Being a national drug store chain, EVERY employee should be required to understand disabilities and to treat everyone with dignity and respect.

Regardless of whether the dog is truly a service dog, the manager should have handled it in a discreet manner. The person is/was a customer of Walgreens and being treated rudely is bad for business. Finding out that the customer is a disabled vet and the dog IS a service dog makes me want to take my business elsewhere and I live in Florida. The actions of a business are far reaching.....
It is absolutely pathetic how your business recently treated a disabled veteran. I can only hope this employee is taken care of for their actions and that your store issues a public apology for this despicable behavior. Do you want to have your store lose all of it's business? Also, is it company policy to discriminate against both veterans AND disabled Americans, or did this employee just decide to do that on their own?
