I can't imagine walgreens turning away a blind or physically disabled person with a service dog, so I cannot imagine walgreens turning away a veteran with PTSD. someone needs to be fired!!!
Unbelievable!! How could they not extend the courtesy of non discrimination to a US Veteran and his service dog!! I'm horrified and embarrassed by this managers twisting of company policy and lack of common courtesy! Shame on him.
I think its time for a civil suit
I am completely disgusted with the way that Vet was treated for his service dog... as a disabled person myself I can understand the comfort of a service dog as I plan to make my pit mine... that manager laughed at him when he showed him his service dog card...I wont be shopping at Walgreen's ever again but I'll tell you what I will be doing... I'll be calling corporate and complaining to them about your store and sending them a copy of the video of the manager being rude!!!
I've will never shop there again and I am passing to all my friends to never shop there. Lets shut walgreens down. They are a disgrace to the nation. How dare them pull this crap. He has a service for a specific reason 99% of the time related to a combat injury. Done done done
The manager in the video needs to be fired, I hope the vet sues you for all your worth for violating the ADA.
I will not step back into another Walgreens if this is not made right! The manager needs to be fired and the wounded vet publicly apologized too!!!!! A service fur baby isn't someone who will bother any one with morals!!!! Make this right!!!!! I wouldn't have even given 1 star but it wouldn't let me comment with out doing so!
Pretty disgusting how you treat a disabled veteran and his service animal. Do you really believe that someone would just take their dog for a stroll through your store for the hell of it? If I don't recieve a response I'm sure CVS or Walmart will happily fill my prescriptions and fulfill my other drug store needs.
Disgraceful that your store manager would treat a disabled Veteran so poorly and disrespectful. I hope the person responsible for this unacceptable behavior is terminated immediately. Officially boycotting Walgreens if he remains employed.
