"It is a service animal" is all he has to say. End of discussion.
No stars for you, but you can't post without one. Walgreen's should know how utterly unacceptable this is. How does a major chain not know the rules and regulations of service dogs. I'm so disgusted with Walgreen's right now,I'm in tears. Thank God for our military men,women and K9s,how dare you treat them his way!
From the US Department of Justice website: Staff may ask two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform. Staff cannot ask about the person’s disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task. -- You are in the wrong, Mesquite Walgreen's -- apologies are in order!
Horrible the way they treat our veterans and service members. I myself will never shop there and I will also spread the word to everyone I know.
Dishonoring the ones that have given up more than we will ever understand by simply not treating someone as a respectful human being is one way to lose not only business but credibility and respect along with it.
Horrible to treat a veteran that way. Just remember there's a CVS across the street from half the Walgreens in the country!
