Unbelievable...especially for a business/company that deals in medical products and services. How can a drugstore not understand service animals and PTSD. Walgreens...you have some damage control to take care of...and you better make it national, because this video has gone national. How can anyone be in management and be so dumb (for lack of a better word).
Service dogs and the Veterans who rely on them are to be respected and treated according to the americans wirh disabilities act. Being Texan doesnt excuse u from humanity. U are on notice Walgreens. Fix the store staff who caused this and then train the rest of them to do better, or face boycotts and protests all over the country. Bet on it.
When I go to visit Texas next year, I will be sure to completely avoid this store. Your manager's treatment of a vet is a disgrace and will never receive my business. I cannot believe that one of my favorite stores would allow such scum to work for them.

I can't review with 0 (zero) stars, so I had to give one star. I also could not add the link to the news story, so I added it in the comments. This store denied services to a disabled veteran for having a service dog with him in the store and asked him to leave after the vet showed him two forms of id for the dog. I find it ironic that there is a picture of a dog on their cover photo.
From PA- I recently was allowed to bring my husky into a Walgreens here in PA because it was 94 degrees outside and far too hot to leave her in the car. The manager of the PA store showed compassion and had no problem allowing her to come in as long as she was leashed. He even came up to us while we were in the store and gave me a free bag of dog treats and showed her a lot of attention and love. The only reason you now have even a one star rating is because it is required by your page to post a review. There is no "excuse" for the appalling actions of your manager in this situation !!
I think the staff is unprofessional, and needs a refresher course on how to treat veterans with service dogs.
