Better teach your managers and other employees about the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). I'm assuming it should have already been taught, but then again the school is in Texas. That says a lot right there.

I have always liked Walgreens until a store manager refused service to a vet because of his assistance dog. And the real irony is that your business is built around assisting those in medical need. I'm not sure how the store manager of a pharmacy could be so ignorant about such a prevalent medical need.

What you did was illegal. Shame. That person should be fired.

Horrible. An American veteran and his service dog. Refused service at a Walgreen's. Shame on you Walgreen's. I could say harsher words but I think the earlier reviews have handled it. The video is going to go viral and you all will have a lot to answer for. Did you know that refusing service to any handicapped individual is against federal law? Apparently that manager didn't.

The manager should and could have shown some respect and professionalism by walking up to this person and asking him discreetly about the dog. That's how! I won't be shopping at Walgreens anymore either. I have a few disabled veteran friends with service dogs, and many friends' sons serving in the military\including my own. I support their service and the people who have spent hours train... read more

You do realize you violated the ADA Act by demanding any identification from this customer! I hope he gets a lawyer and sues your ass off! Your employee showed a complete lack of understanding of the disabled and their service dogs! They cannot be denied entry at all...and you do not have the "right" unless the dog is misbehaving to demand they leave!
